A butterfly – 10apr15

A butterfly catching
the downward draft
effortlessly flies

gliding higher it
jostles with the

lightly maneuvering
no one perceives
its quietness

red sunset tints the
upturned velvet wings

exhilaration yields to

I’m posting this on 11th using day 10 prompt: write an abecedarian poem – a poem with a structure derived from the alphabet. I’ll skip day 11.
